Dan Sarich
PRESIDENT
Dan is an industry pioneer, dedicating more than 40 years of modular construction experience to expanding AMS from a small family business to California’s leading modular school manufacturer. As President, Dan oversees all aspects of financial management, bidding, estimating, procurement and logistics, building productive long-term relationships throughout the supply chain, construction industry and educational community.

Dan focuses on systematizing cost and energy efficiencies to make modular building an affordable, high-quality solution for the expansion and modernization of California schools.

A graduate of the University of Oregon, Dan is active in industry organizations and served as past president of the School Facilities Manufacturer’s Association.

Tony Sarich
VP OF OPERATIONS
Tony has spearheaded the expansion of both AMS and the industry, reshaping production and fostering change to reconceive what a modular building can be—and do. As VP of Operations, Tony is part general contractor, part marketing pioneer and part brand ambassador, playing a pivotal role in growing new markets leveraging new technology and increasing awareness for green building and the company’s high performance GEN7 line.

Tony established AMS as a leader in sustainable enterprise, reducing energy usage at the AMS factory through daylighting and high-efficiency systems, while eliminating 90% of waste through recycling and efficient purchasing. He positioned AMS as LEED® and CHPS® specialists, bringing cutting-edge sustainability to modular construction.

With more than 20 years experience in the modular field, Tony channels both expertise and vision into creating the ideal 21st century learning environment, integrating new technology to support innovative teaching practices and promote environmental stewardship in schools and in the community.

Suzanne Willis
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Suzanne is the Executive Director of Business Development, responsible for overseeing the entire AMS Sales Team and spearheading business development and sales activities throughout California. As team leader, she manages the performance of multiple projects, effectively collaborating with preconstruction and construction teams to ensure project success.

Suzanne is a detail-oriented professional with more than two decades of modular construction experience. She’s skilled in all facets of marketing, communications and business development, specializing in strategic planning, customer relationship management and creative problem solving. Her ability to think outside the box creates turnkey solutions that exceed both client expectations and industry and environmental standards.

A versatile project manager, Suzanne has a solid track record forming strong partnerships with architects and contractors and is proficient in all construction delivery methods, successfully managing a variety of Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, Lease Leaseback, LEED and Zero Net Energy projects from planning to completion. Her passion for finding sustainable solutions has generated energy-efficient strategies and initiatives that create positive environmental impacts and increase client ROI through ongoing operating cost reductions.

Prior to joining AMS in 2021, Suzanne was Marketing and Business Development Manager for Silver Creek Industries, where she was responsible for managing all marketing activities and corporate communications, as well as facilitating client development and sales for a diverse construction portfolio.

Suzanne studied Marketing and Business Management at Mt. San Jacinto College and earned a professional certificate in Green Building Construction from San Diego State University. She lives in the Riverside area and works out of the AMS Southern California office.

Maggie Howland
DIRECTOR OF MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Maggie is Director of Marketing & Business Development, responsible for shaping the AMS brand and creating marketing initiatives that position AMS for long-term growth and leadership in the modular building industry.

Maggie is a seasoned marketing executive, with more than 20 years of
experience in brand marketing, communications and business development. Since joining AMS in 2010, she has been a key player in developing strategic partnerships and leveraging opportunities to drive the company’s expansion into new products and markets. She played a pivotal role in the launch and evolution of the award-winning GEN7 line of high-performance school buildings, positioning AMS as a pioneer in sustainable school design.

She was also instrumental in introducing the AMS 2GO, AMS FORM and AMS EVOLVE brands, effectively segmenting the modular school market to target new and emerging needs– part of a major rebrand that restructured the AMS brand portfolio and modernized its image to better reflect the company’s commitment to continuous innovation in school design.

Under Maggie’s leadership, AMS has remained at the forefront of modular construction. Her ability to understand and anticipate customer needs and trends translates into high-impact campaigns, digital content and event marketing that drive client engagement and advance AMS’ mission of delivering healthier, smarter and more sustainable learning environments.

Maggie holds a B.S. in Marketing and Communication from Emerson College. She enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with her family—often cheering on her two kids from the sidelines. She’s active in her community, lending her support to initiatives in education, sustainability and community development.

Justin Torres
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Justin is Business Development Manager for the eastern region of Northern California, down through the Central Valley. He’s a hands-on sales manager who is passionate about developing strong client relationships and consistently providing the highest level of customer service—a commitment that builds lasting trust with clients. His extensive experience with all AMS product lines is pivotal in helping schools and school districts find the right building solution to create modern facilities that meet the daily needs of students, teachers and all end users.

Justin joined AMS in 2018, bringing a diverse history of sales success to the AMS team. He has more than a decade of experience as a multi-faceted account representative, responsible for both account management and new business development, including lead generation, product sales and customer support.

Justin holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Davis, where he studied marketing, economics, textiles and engineering. An experienced pilot, he enjoys traveling and adventuring with his wife and spending time with their three young children. His hobbies include off-road motorcycling, camping, hiking and kayaking.

Corey Ptaszynski
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Corey is Business Development Manager for AMS’ Southern California Region, driving sales growth and project development in Greater Los Angeles and surrounding counties. He has more than 15 years of diverse experience in architecture, engineering and construction, including structural engineering design, business development and sales and project management. His enthusiasm for developing value-added design solutions saves clients time and money, accelerating facilities modernization for Southern California communities.

Corey joined AMS in 2020, after holding a variety of business development and structural engineer positions at construction and engineering firms in the Los Angeles area. His cross-functional experience is pivotal in building mutually-beneficial relationships between all members of the project team, helping AMS create successful, ongoing partnerships with civil engineering, architectural and construction management firms, as well as educators and government regulatory agencies, like DSA.

Corey holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University and is a certified California Engineer-in-Training (EIT). He’s active in the community, volunteering as a mentor with Big Brother and a home builder with Habitat for Humanity.

Magaly Gutierrez
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Magaly is the Business Development Manager for AMS’ San Diego region, responsible for building a sales presence and developing and strengthening customer relationships throughout San Diego, Imperial, Riverside and Orange counties. She has more than a decade of experience in the field of modular construction, with an in-depth understanding of the unique needs of the fast-growing Southern California market. Her expertise extends to all phases of the sales process, from proposal writing to project planning, management and delivery.

Before joining AMS in 2023, Magaly spent eight years as a Business Development Manager for Silver Creek Industries, where she was successful in generating sales leads, developing new relationships and managing complex projects in the custom design niche of modular school construction. Her strong communication skills and dedication to personalized customer service ensured that clients were satisfied and projects delivered successfully.

Magaly attended California State University, Fullerton and Citrus College in Glendora, where she majored in Social & Behavioral Sciences. She enjoys boating, home decorating, hosting for the holidays and traveling with family and friends. Her love for sunrises and sunsets reflects her appreciation for nature’s beauty and the simple pleasures in life.

Hylton Mockler
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Hylton is Business Development Manager for the western region of Northern California, managing sales for the North Coast down through the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. He’s a veteran sales manager with a deep understanding of strategic planning, process optimization and change management—skills that help school districts efficiently deliver high-quality, cost-effective educational facilities tailored to their specific needs.

Hylton joined AMS in 2024, bringing more than 20 years of experience in construction management, business development and client support to the AMS sales team. After starting his career in international construction and construction material manufacturing management and sales, he spent a decade in global management consulting before transitioning to modular construction. His ground-level construction expertise, analytical skills and knowledge of operational processes bring a unique perspective to client projects, capitalizing on efficiencies and opportunities to design more resilient schools for a fast-evolving market.

An avid explorer, Hylton has traveled all over the world and enjoys experiencing different cultures. After a decade of working abroad, he now calls the Bay Area home.
